I love your blog! Your statement "it reminded me about the beauty of living your dreams and the goddesses that we as women can embody. I felt reincarnated and motivated after the movies hip beats and flash back songs." absolutely explains why Zumba has changed my life. It was what made me feel that I could "let go of my inhibitions and prevent conformity" even though I'm not a perfect size 5, I definietly do not have DD breats, and have no dance background what so ever. But in trying something new (and soo out of my element that I might as well have been trying to fly to the moon) I realized that I could do it! That I did't have to be someone else, or a certain size or even have a certain ablity for dancing. I could just be me!!! By stepping out of the box (that I didn't even realize I had myself in) I've learned how to celebrate who I am. What I look like and how my body interprets the music of My Soul. In the few short months between taking a Zumba class to becoming certified to teach it, I've learned that by chasing my dreams (and enjoying the pride that comes along with that) There truly is nothing better then being My Authentic Self! And in teaching classes with amazing students of all ages, races and abilities, I can honestly say that it is our differences that truly, truly do make us all Beautiful Women.
